Single initial with leaf gilding
Hand-painted initial with your desired letter in gouache colors and with real gold leaf on handmade paper (size approx 15 x 21 cm, initial size approx 8 cm). The style and colors will be discussed individually. I am also happy to integrate a special motif, such as an animal or an object (let yourself be inspired in my gallery). Für die Ausstellung "This Sacred Art" in der Pitts Theology Library an der Emory University in Atlanta habe ich diese Initiale auf einem Nachdruck der Titelseite von Eusebius' "De evangelica praeparatione" (1470) gestaltet. Den Prozess des Vergoldens und Malens der Initiale habe ich gefilmt und die Videos werden ebenfalls vor Ort gezeigt. Die Ausstellung kann auch virtuell besucht werden: digital.pitts.emory.edu.

Aktuelles Projekt: Exalted Funeral hat mich "entführt und in ihrem wunderbar eingerichteten Künstlerverlies gefesselt", um an ihrem Kickstarter-Projekt zu einem "äußerst offiziell lizenzierten Monty Python Tabletop-Rollenspiel" mitzuarbeiten. Current project: Exalted Funeral has "kidnapped me and fitted me with shackles in their wonderfully appointed artist's dungeon" to collaborate on their Kickstarter project for an "extremely officially licensed Monty Python tabletop role-playing game".
